Yeah, I was just thinking to myself the other day about how horrible it would be if that chain of ponds were to be destroyed. I used to live just around the corner with my Dad and we would go for a walk down there to the cafe every Saturday morning and have something to eat. I used to love how nice the paths alongside the little rivers connecting the ponds were, with all the greenery and nice water. One of my favourite memories ever.Omicron wrote:Yay! is this building complete?
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
Re: #U/C The West Lakes Collection, 2x8storey
No, I believe the hessian clad scaffolding should start coming down sometime soon.
The crane is still up also.

is the building inside the scaffolding, or is the scaffolding inside the building ?

The perimeter scaffolding sits on the podium level, hence the "exposed" wall at the lowest level.

A two bedroom apartment is advertised in this week's Weekly Times (Messenger) for $1.375 -> 1.5 million, a bit out of my range.

Tower crane has been removed in the last week or two, & the scaffolding / hessian is progressively being removed.
