Here is another picture from Saturday 6 Sept showing more details of the glazing on the Gawler place (west) side.
As the building grows it gets harder to be far enough away to fit the whole building in the picture. Picture taken from opposite corner of Flinders St and Gawler place
(next to Education Department)

I like what they've done with this one. Not just another boring glass box. Turning out better than renders.

I have to disagree, from what I can see this is a very ordinary building. It's only 15 floors, the design is very basic too, it's also adding more office space in a city that has plenty of vacant office space atm. The only positive I can give is it's increasing the building density of Flinders st. But it's not finished yet, i'll be interested to see how it fits in with the streetscape, will it be all glass/concrete/exhaust vents/carpark driveway, or will it have retail spaces fronting both Gawler and Flinders streets.

Just on this point, yes, but the jump in office vacancies has been quite recent and the premium and A grade vacancy rate is still lower than B through D grades. I think the real worry will be the owners of all the awful D grade stock who will no doubt be desperate for tenants as leases roll over.
I also note that this building is quite a bit shorter than originally envisaged due to the inability to rely on additional tenancies beyond Peoples Choice so I don't think it's really adding too badly to the cities 'empty office' space. I'd take a guess massive cutbacks at the ATO and other federal agencies, for example, and the huge space in the city central towers as a result would be having a much worse impact.

You can't complain really, just lament. Cake and eat it situation. Demand and supply.

I only caught a brief glimpse, but it appears that the tower crane has been removed from this site.
Can anyone else confirm?

As of Tue 2 Dec 2014 the Tower crane is still on site. It will come down soon.At present they are building a machine room above the 15 office floor. This machine room is set back from the other floors.

Does anyone have an estimated date of completion for this one?
What about the estimated date of the tenants moving in?

On the west side (towards the north ) there are mini vertical sun shades built into the windows shown as white strips .These only extend out about 200mm (the width of an open Palm). Both pictures taken Saturday 6 Dec 2014.
