Yeah, it's a nice looking model. Thanks Ben. It reminds me a tiny bit of Vue at the top and it to me at least, it also looks brown in those photos. Hopefully it's just poor lighting in the photo/room or my eyes playing tricks on me, but surely this one couldn't be brown as well?
That said, I look forward to this one hopefully going ahead. Currie Street could seriously use some new development.
Also, why is the height in the thread title now 115m? I know there was talk of an increase in height a few months ago, but is that the official new height?

FFS, 24 levels for the hotel and then the top 8 levels apartments, mate.Dvious wrote:Model looks impressive. Do we know how many floors of apartments?

With only 8 floors of apartments, hopefully they sell fast! Currie St needs this.

Looks like the apartments will be known as Luminesque from signage on the front.

Demolition and construction will be at least 2 years and given that it's a big project there will most likely be delays andAdelaide will gain a new Accor hotel in 2018 with the opening of the Sofitel Adelaide on Currie Street in the city’s CBD.
cost blow outs.
If this is going to open in 2018, then surely they'll have to start demolition / construction in January next year.
So that would mean the sales office will be open for only 3 months ??
I find it hard to believe it's going to be open by 2018

Great news ! This development is surely not reliant on apartment sales for the beginning of building, if Accor want to build and finance a new 5 star hotel in Adelaide ready for guests in 2018..then who are we to say it won't happen !
