Not sure who else is up at this late hour, but I just heard the earth rumble..again.
Windows shook.
Was a 3.3 near Upper Sturt according to Geoscience Australia.

Probably occurred on the Clarendon Fault Line, if the epicentre was in Upper Sturt.

I felt the long rumble of the 3.3 earthquake - woke me up. I immediately got on to Twitter and was able to share views via the adelaide and earthquake hashtags and the confirming URL (see rev's screenshot) that gave us all the data such as location, magnitude, seismograph record etc - fabulous for real time data! The print media is at such a disadvantage in the connected world.

Ditto. ground shook and windows rattled...
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Just a long, low, incredibly deep rumble at my house - so low you could feel it, like sense-a-round, but nothing shook. Enough to wake me up, and I knew straight away what it was. Pretty cool.
cheers,
Rhino

The earthquake scared the poo out of me, but not for the obvious reasons. Prior to going to bed, I watched an alien abduction movie, so when I was woken up by the loud bang followed by the house starting to tremble, my first reaction was "shit, they're coming for me!!!"

Is that Spire making a cameo in the background?

Idiots. Can we please oh please have a decent major newspaper/news website already?

They clearly only have ONE image of the Adelaide skyline on file.

That image is so old it doesn't even have CC1 in the background which was built like 6 years ago now!

It appears to be from the mid 90s.

I drove past the West End brewery yesterday afternoon and workers were removing the words 'SA BORN AND BREWED' from the signage facing Port Road.

What does this mean? Replacing signage or some other sinister motive?..
