If it's progress in the City of Adelaide, then it has a place on the myspace. I have no issues.

There's a rather poorly thought out proposal around to retro-fit some buses with doors on the right so they can use the new platforms. The driver will obviously have to stay home, or sit at the back of the bus, or maybe even the roof?
As you said, it's :wank:

Saw 106 on a training run today, it gave me a bit of a start when it sounded its bell just before the KWS/Rundle/Hindley intersection (yet another dipstick crossing against the lights). Also, on the way back to the office, saw a woman (poss. tourist) waiting at the Pirie Street stop. Did I go over and tell her that it's not actually in service yet? Well, I did think about it for a while (about 5 seconds), but....
My work has now moved into one of the upper floors of City Central 1, on the southern side, so great view of Victoria Square (also saw a car driving on the track adjacent to the GPO - not sure if it was a contractor's vehicle or not). I'll try and get some photos over the next few days, so watch this space!

Thanks to a last-minute tip-off, I raced into town after work and caught H Types 351 & 367 doing final tests ahead of this weekend's activities.
All went well.

thanks BillD, your 2nd pic is important, because there looks like more than enough space between the tracks on the curve, to allow for the overhang from the H's, so I reckon the H's can pass each other easily. Anyone agreee?
For opening day, I reckon they're only running trams from Vic Sq to City West only, because they are probably expecting a lot of people, so they dont wanna waste time/trams rolling down to South Tce. Thats what I think. It maybe all trams on deck for Sunday. Interesting to see. I wonder if a H will come down to have a little roll around

and while Im here, as demonstrated by all the photos, I think our railway station is far more beautiful and significant building than Flinders St Station in Melb, yet people over there go on an on about Flinders St

Nice photos!
Anyone going to put a collection of all the photo's together
I bet there are tons from start to finish!
Anyone know any finer details about sunday in terms of the trams leaving Victoria Sqaure. Around 12pm?
And will they only be running 2 runs or more? I don't want to miss out! Any details would be great!
