The only Russian church I know of is the Russian Orthodox church out at Wayville, and I very much doubt that any associated with them is out there preaching like a dick head and getting in peoples faces.
The Orthodox faith isn't about preaching at people who don't want to hear it and getting in their faces about it.
Non-Orthodox are more then welcome to come in to a church during a service, nobody will stop them.
But going out into the streets and preaching? Doesn't happen.

Might be some evangelists or one of those new-age Christian groups, that might be of Russian background? I know there are some Greek evangelist whackos, who actually spend their time going around to hospitals and visiting old Greek people who are ill and leaving them some bullshit propaganda pamphlets. When my grand father was still alive and in hospital, one happened to come in when I was there. I came close to punching his teeth out, luckily for him a nurse came into the room.

I can't stand these idiots who think they have a right to preach to others regardless of if others want to hear them or not.
You should see how I treat the jehovas witness door knockers. The last time they came, was about the third time in two weeks they'd knocked on my door. I told the two guys to just wait a minute I had something in the oven. Put a balaclava on and burst out the side from the house with a baseball bat yelling and swearing at them..they ran off down the street.
Kid you not now, they have not bothered me since. I guess they figure I'm far too gone for their unwanted help.

They want acceptance and to be treated like normal people. Well, the majority do just that. They accept them, and treat them like they would anyone else.

The majority of gay community are not sexed up or vocal when it comes to equal rights but many do support having those rights. Being attracted to the same-sex is very much well accepted these days, but it's not accepted enough in our ancient law system, eg equal marriage/civil union. It's criminal not to allow an tax-paying citizen the same rights as a straight person just because they happen to be born gay, it's similar to when women or black people were denied the same rights as white men.

Getting back to those preachers, it's not surprising that there was been an vocal attack on them by gay activists. These preachers have already gate-crashed peaceful equal rights rallies and their main message is full of strong homophobic material. Though these Friday night rallies have since backfired on the activists, with the organisers asking for calm.

The truth is none of this belongs in Rundle Mall, neither hypocritical bible bashers or equal right rallies. It's a place for shopping, leisure and entertainment. Once the preachers finally piss off, then so will the gay activists.

Hey I used to go to that church no, they're not those street preachers, they're nice people.

Once same-sex marriage has finally been accepted in our law system, then there will be much less equal rights rallies. Until then, they will continue to get louder.

I'm pretty sure some of these preachers have insecurities over their own sexual preference deep down..

but anyway, i am sort of Rev's side here. I believe homosexuals should be able to get married although it still amazes me why anyone whould want to run the risk of losing half their stuff whether they be gay or straight but Rev is right, shoving your cause (whether it be good or bad) down the general publics throat pisses everyone off.

That's nothing to do with our OBahn. That's a machine they use in Cambridge to check the alignment of their busway's tracks.

Wow. At nearly 6 mins long, I doubt it's being shown on TV. But it deserves to go viral!

EDIT: Apparently it has already. It was uploaded in 2009 and has roughly 14 million views. Still, effective.

They're not showing this six minute montage on TV, but realise that this montage was made from TV adverts over the last 20 years. So all of it has been on TV at some point.

that is pretty hardcore... I found it hard watching but the fact of the matter is, it's got a good chance of working.
