I'm pretty sure Apple is in, as they're clearly leaving space while putting the rest of the facade up. I don't think the issue was ever with the design, just the lack of cover.

I don't think there ever was a design, just a blank faceless sheet of board painted beige!

Interestingly enough there is glass on the second level same as what was proposed for the left hand side and not the Silver cladding displayed in the render for the Apple Store. I hope this does not mean they have pulled the plug.

I couldn't really care less whether there's an Apple store or not. It's not like you can't buy Apple products already from plenty of places in Adelaide. I'm far more concerned that the building looks good. Thankfully it's sounding like it will!

must admit although I have no interest in Apple products, I would cringe with sadness if we didn't get an Apple store. Although this sounds silly, without an Apple store Adelaide just seems like a forgotten old town. Even Canberra has one however the disposable income of an average Canberran is much higher than us.

On another note the quality of the finish on the arches on the Rundle Mall side is a positive

This is really coming along - it looks quite imposing but impressive in Rundle Mall. Still, a bit of a wasted opportunity if you compare Brisbane's fantastic new Wintergarden complex.

We know it will have a Harris Scarfe and a Coles, and possibly an Apple store and Zara, but what else is supposed to be moving in? Will it be a luxury development or middle of the road? Will there be a new food court?

Foodcourt will be in the basement. you can see this in the flythrough on the website. I think some of the retailers will be announced before the end of the year. I'm still really really hoping the mall frontage stores will open prior to christmas.

Apple is definitely in, they are taking two levels on the western corner facing Rundle Mall. All stores have now been leased and they will all open on the same day. Retail is mixed and there is a food court.
