I don't think there are a few women, it is just that they probably don't know about this forum (or have reasons not to post).Shuz wrote:I've always been interested to wonder why there are few women associated with the architectural/pro-development agendas? Oh yes, you're right! So, four women then Joy clearly knows what she is talking about, I had wondered if she was an architect.Ho Really wrote:I don't think there are a few women, it is just that they probably don't know about this forum (or have reasons not to post).Shuz wrote:I've always been interested to wonder why there are few women associated with the architectural/pro-development agendas? I should hope that's either a 1600 or 240Z project!

Hi Mike, welcome to the site._MO_ wrote:Hi all, my name is Mike Ott (MO), I'm 31, married with no kids yet (we're working on it ). Settled in Adelaide 18 months ago and love it here.
I am a BDM in Cable TV and broadband industry, working for a British company, spend a lot of time away from home and thinking of changing jobs actually... Crazy about plane spotting, airports, transport and infrastructure in general.

Did you come from overseas? If so, what made you pick Adelaide over the other capitals?_MO_ wrote:Want to know anything -- just ask
For the last 15 years I lived in places like London, Amsterdam, Moscow and Manila. Got tired of big cities, crowds, traffic, etc. -- wanted something quiet but civilised. Here I had to choose between Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and I think Adelaide is the ideal place for me: big enough to be a city, but small enough not to be a crazy crowded megapolis.Somebody wrote:Did you come from overseas?
