New perspective, from Cheesman Architects:

still wish they could have put the apartment building on top of the office building, would have been a 35 level tower. Oh well, certainly better than nothing at all.

Thanks Will.
I prefer the lighter colour floor plate sections of glass on the commercial section being thinner than 400 King William Street. It's a small detail but will improve the appearance of this one imo.
Definitely one of the projects I'm most interested in at the moment as it will have a big impact on this side of town and block out the Telstra Exchange when viewed from the SW. For example when entering the city from Anzac Highway. One of the ugliest views of the CBD at the moment.
Hopefully Kyren Group will focus on a new tallest in Adelaide one day considering their projects actually come to fruition. Can only dream

To me, this one looks like a cross between City Central and Aurora... but like metro said, still better than nothing in terms of more density and "newness" for that part of town.

From Wednesday:
New site fence (and gantry?) in Franklin Street will soon restrict the view from street level.

Oh I didn't realise they'd actually started work on this one - I thought they were just shuffling dirt around. Good news.
Given the size of the site - fair to say that 2 cranes would be used?

Think just one and I think it's going on the Franklin Street footpath... somehow. Should be up by the end of November.

Once the crane on this one goes up that will mean there will be 5 cranes all pretty close to
each other (grote st, franklin st & Waymouth st)

Looks like this one is going to go up fast just like 400 KWS did with the steel structure. Drove past quickly yesterday and looked like the Eastern part was up to level 2 already. Crane base was being installed too.

Oooh, how exciting!
Crane for this and Rundle Place soon. Not long before we see double-digits.
The West End is fast becoming a hive of construction activity.
