The crane base disappeared out of sight on Thursday, so I believe it might be inside the old Telephone Exchange building. There is a hole in the building the right size for a crane.

Depends entirely on the lifting capacity of the crane. Whilst the boom may be able to reach most of the site, that would be at maximum extension, of which reduces the maximum amount of weight that can be lifted.

We'll have to wait and see.

It's nice to see crane activity right in the heart of the city, lets hope there's more in the not too distant future.
