Hines is building a 38 level building for $85 million and he has a whinge about the adelaide market being cheap.
I will make sure that I don't stay in any of his hotels from now on.

Still his rant about Adelaide is pretty poor. He knew when he built these hotels that the SA economy is soft compared to the other 4 cities.
Adelaide is a cheap city. If you don't like it, then don't invest here.

Not wanting to bump a thread but in the Adelaidean thread it was mentioned that the NE CBD skyline silhouette will look substantially different once the 269 North Tce and Twin St developments are completed, however as seen in this thread it has been crickets since March...does anyone know the current status of this project?

Expected but a shame - definitely the best of the current student accommodation proposals and the one most likely to impact the skyline positively.
