I don't wish to come across as a negative nancy, but that blank stone face in Rundle Mall, back towards ground level, is dreadful. An architectural blight. I hope a few stores plan on chucking some logos on it.

Yes it certainly wasn't well thought through. Contrary to what some others have said on this very thread, I much much prefer the facade of the Myer Centre which to me is interesting, unique, and fun.

An electronic adevertising banner similar to outside the Ent Cent would brighten up this blandness. It is a retail zone afterall.

Some glass that's gone up on the tower is visible from the mall...looks pretty good imo.

There are now big signs in the windows facing Rundle Mall saying it will be opening in March.

Ted Baker to open fourth store in Oz

Leading international fashion label, Ted Baker, will open its fourth Australian store in Adelaide next year.
Set to open in March next year, Ted Baker’s first Adelaide store will be located in Rundle Place, formerly the iconic Harris Scarfe site, as part of its $385 million redevelopment still currently underway.
Justin Dangerfield said “Rundle Place is an exciting and dynamic retail space. We are thrilled to be the home for Ted Baker’s Adelaide store. Ted Baker is famously known as ‘No Ordinary Designer Label’ and Rundle Place shares a similar synergy with our vision, for Rundle Place to be like no ordinary shopping centre.”
Lauren Gunston, retail and marketing support Australia, Ted Baker said “Australia and Blighty (the UK) already have a lot of history, but the Rundle Place development will represent the next generation in retail and is poised to become one of the company’s iconic stores. Ted couldn’t be more proud to be part of it.”
Three major Canadian retailers, Point Zero, Joshua Perets and La Vie en Rose, will also make their Australian debut in Rundle Place early next year.
Rundle Place will include a four storey retail centre anchored by Coles, with a food court on the lower level, Harris Scarfe department store divided on the first and second floors, and around 70 specialty retail tenancies, with the fashion offering located on the ground level.
The development also includes an eleven storey commercial tower (set to open October 2013) which is pre-leased to the Adelaide/Bendigo Bank. The purchase of the adjoining car park by the developers provides 500 casual car parking spaces and 100 pre-leased car spaces that will directly link to each level of the retail centre.
“The centre is now 95 per cent leased and interest continues to be strong. Over the coming weeks we will be able to release more exciting international names who have decided to make Rundle Place their home” said Ilona Rose, project leasing manager for Rundle Place.

Heh, so we just moved into one of the upper floors in 25 Grenfell. Pretty good views looking down onto this development. I'll try and get some pics but it's tough with these blasted blinds in the windows!

As mentioned. Like i said, tough to get a clear shot through those blinds (with stereo vision the brain tends to blank them out). Looks like mech/plant room being built at the moment?

Actually there's a Jones the Grocer on KWR, Hyde Park (started in Sydney now worldwide-ish), be interesting to see if this will work in Rundle Mall. I'll certainly frequent them if they move in.
