Nice. I think when I make my first $10million I'll look at one of those 34m moorings. One question, does the vessel have to be within that length or can it be, let's say 42 metres and still be able to moor there safely (and allow others manoeuvrability)?

We could technically fit a 42m boat as our water title extends another 15m beyond the end of the berth.

However, a 42m boat would be alot wider than a 34m boat and would therefore not fit in a standard 34m berth.
There would be room to fit a boat of this size at the end of the 34m row of berths, with a walkway on one side only.

Im sure if a 42m boat ever presented itself in the marina we would find a way to fit it safely.

This is when I love Nearmap and its ability to go back in time, so that construction progress can be followed.

Demand for larger berths is a good sign of prosperity (larger berths = larger boats). I know it's nothing to do with Mr. Marina, but what's North Haven like these days? I seem to recall a terminal case of the late '80s, but it has been a while since I was there.

hey skyliner, it's here (nearmap) - what's been added is the northern-most bay of moorings. Scroll back through nearmap history (in mid-2010 the moorings did not exist).

The southern-most set of moorings (near osborne rd) are where the CYC is located.

We have loved using nearmap throughout the project, It was amazing the speed at which the piles and the marina system were installed.
The next photo they upload will show our car park finished with landscaping, and a few more boats.

Our Marina is about 35mins north of glenelg by boat (power boat) and about 35 mins by car from the city.
The great thing about our site is that it is the most protected from storms of any of the marinas in North Haven.
And the with direct access to open water, its very easy to take the boat out.
This makes it a prime location for the large boats.
