Is that going to be the site of one or more of the towers or the bus station? I thought the new station was going to be where the existing one is at the moment.

The bus station will occupy the site that is currently empty. Some of the new residential towers will take the site of the existing bus station next door.

Great shots AtD, be very nice to have a webcam stuck right where you took that last shot

Great images Adam!
The last one definately puts into perspective how shameful our current bus terminal is!

I think the excavations for the first tower are underway here. There is a pit on the North Western corner which is reaaaaally deep, unless the bus terminal has an underground carpark.

My guess would be that it's for the bus terminal, with busses picking up/dropping off passengers underground.

Excavation all done now. Temporary crane and piling equipment on site. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a tower crane or two for this section of the project. Big spans and up to 5 levels tall.

Scott: Yeah it does, they both have windows, are high-rises and are made using concrete, it's almost like it was the same person!
Now stop posting that link everywhere.
Here's a pic from the site today: Sandpit stage is over, time to lay foundations.

The bus depot is being integrated into the development, under a smaller apartment building, not one of the larger ones.
