Give me a break.

Speed definitely contributes to the death toll, but it's not the root cause of the problem.

I've got some dangerous implements in my kitchen (e.g. knives and forks, even a spork!) which could be used to kill. maybe they should be banned too...

Hopefully when the Torrens Island track gets built :) But i've never done anything stupid on the streets, I don't see the point.

How much was the car? You mean in stock or modified form? I got it stock for about $26k landed and on the road... but it looks/drives nothing like it does today :)

btw, i think there should be a Car Appreciation thread here.

thank for the complement red with white looks old school but it has to have the union jack vinyl on the roof :D , and I must admit Howie for 26k for a performance car, you cant beat that type bang for buck for a skyline, though as with this thread about excessive speed, skylines have got a bad rap due to the few bad apples who own them and are idiots.

BTW: I second the car appreciation thread

Yep skyline owners cop it sweet in terms of hooniness. Although an active effort is being made by a few people in my car club to talk to local police and show them we're not all hoons, just like not all bike lovers are 'bikies'.

Yes, I need a car. No need to tell me that. Unless of course I can get Cruise to mod a bus for me

I'd find it ridiculously hard to choose a car in that segment - Cooper S, Focus XR5T, VXR, 3 MPS, Megane RS, Golf GTI, Civic Type R, C30 T5, WRX....there's not a bad car among them.

its a mind field in the hot hatch category and it comes down to what personal preference is, i test drove most of em and went for the kooper because its a great package but its probably the more expensive option of em all, but its unusual.
