Assumedly, that Adelaide has improved it's growth rate of 1.2% from 2007 levels; the population as of 30th June 2010 should be around 1,200,398 - give or take a few.

"Greater Adelaide" - which consists of Mount Barker, and the entire Barossa and Fleurieu regions comprise another 139,517 residents, based on 2.0% growth rate from 2008 levels make up a population base of some 1,339,915 people (by June 30th 2010) within a 80km radius - roughly from the CBD.

1.2m people in Adelaide proper seems to be the magic milestone for the city this year. I predict that growth rates will only continue to increase, and rather significantly in the next decade - probably around to 1.7% p.a by 2020.

Click on CHINA and note the growth comparison - amazing!!!!!
