Thanks Will. This is another one of those projects which has taken what seems like forever to come to fruition. And I'm quite curious to see how it turns out, as I once frequented that mall a fair amount, but no longer get down that way to see the changes firsthand.

The new shopping area opened today inc. the underground carpark. I went for a walk around, looks quite nice compared to the condition it was in a few years back.

Needless to say, the shops were packed. All parking areas were full as well as the side streets.

The guess the most important thing of all is that I finally have a subway within a 2 minute drive .

If anyone is interested I can take some photos?

I drive past it every time I go to work, and boy it really does look quite nice. The new Big W and Dick Smith there would be my closest now so that's a plus. I might take a few snaps when I drive past tomorrow afternoon.

Does anyone have an photos of how it used to look? I lived right near it for 21 years but didn't think to take any...

+1 to wanting to see now and then photos.
