The developer behind this, is the same one behind the 199-200 North Terrace student apartment complex.

This is on public notification on the ACC website until November 18.

I'm quite impressed by the design.

it appears to be 15 levels now and has a height of 49M

it looks great but I try not to judge by render, if you look at the Precinct render you'll agree :)

Looks good, will bring some much-needed height to the area.

Wow!

Very nice, much better than I was expecting. Good to see a nice lot of glass on an Adelaide apartment building too. Even for the affordable units for the lower floors. Excellent location close to the markets too. Plus a lack of substantial blank walls, perfect!

Adelaide is really firing at the moment. If most of these proposals/approvals come to fruition it will be a very busy next couple of years construction-wise.

Nice. Should be easier to sell than most too. I know there's plenty of fanatical market lovers out there who'd love to live this close.

not bad at all. Wouldn't mind living there. I'm a market lover.

Great to see all these proposals. Fascinates me that during winter our city seems to fall into a rut of hardly any new proposals, less building activity, restaurants all quiet, and shops closing down all over the place.
Then comes spring, everyone seems happier, warmer weather (well supposed to be), people out n about, and proposals coming left right and centre. Feels good

great. will hide the ugly GHD building from the airport and if it turns out bad, at least it's not in a prominent location, and can be built around eventually.

And it seems like it's got a more interesting street level than the initial proposal. The renders also hint at a pedestrian access through that alley down the side of the carpark at the end of Rowlands Place, but that might be hoping for too much.

How's it different to almost every other resi tower that's been proposed or built in the past 10 years?

Hate to look enviously at what our Victorian friends are doing, but I want some of this:

Yes, but look what happened when that lovely curvy apartment building was proposed for Dequetteville Tce next to the Brewery Apartments - the architects may as well have told the council to copulate with their mothers and set fire to a box of babies and puppies.

Indeed. But I can't settle for cookie-cutter bland because some of our esteemed councillors etc have the design integrity of................................. [something that doesn't have much design integrity].
