Rann anounced that it's going to Murray Bridge in the forseeable future.

That will take some doing though - it's bloody heavy!

It is being developed by an Adelaide based experienced retirement village developer. It will incorporate a retirement village as well as establishing a new commercial precinct in the Inner North West. The other main aspect of the site will be a student apartment complex (for UniSA @ Mawson Lakes/and TAFE @ Regency Park.)

There will also be a retail development to provide the necessary amenities for a development of this size.

It will be intresting to see how they fit everything in the space they have. The old TNT yard (the land in question) isnt that big. I would have thought they could fit one developent, being houseing or a shopping centre.

Okay... we've got some juicy renders for you. These come courtesy of Al, and note they are a little old so they might be out of date now.

Looks good, should liven up the area a bit. I like the 3-story apartments, I hope more of those 3 story apartment blocks will be put into the inner suburbs soon to increase density.

They get 10 points for putting the higher density areas and what looks like a shopping centre next to the train station. That's what they should have done at Mawson Lakes.

Just like the Port Adelaide waterfront development, DTEI really need to do something about the station!
