The brick feature will remain. The Advertiser has made a mistake. The tower will not be located exactly on the corner, but rather the whole development is essentially on the corner.

That's a very interesting design, especially with the overhang. Perhaps someone who spends more time in the city could take a wonder down to the display centre and see if there's any colour renders?

I'm not as impressed as with the render Howie posted on 21/9/07 - still good however.
After reading the above recent posts am I correct in assuming all 5 of the originally proposed towers will still be built?

Yes, all 5 towers are still going ahead, the brochure is only for the old Balfours site.

Well, I couldn't be bothered scanning the page (which wouldn't have fit into our scanner)... so I just took a photo, then sharpened it slightly, since it was a little blurry.
I just realised that the same picture is already available on the official website... oh well.

Tiny article in the paper stating 1500 expressions of interest received for the 147 Altitude apartments.
Great news, i love the idea of the Rec Deck.

Well I watched Ten News tonight, ashamed to say it but I did, that news is shocking, it's all ads for medical companies etc. Anyway they said that Altitude sold around $45million worth of apartments today in its first day of release. Over 50%! They think this may have broken some records in terms of interest and sales as well. This was another example of an ad being run as a news story on channel ten but hey I was interested in this one. Sounds very positive for this project so far.

I saw 10 news also and they said that something like 15-20% of all the apartments were bought within 10 minutes or so. Simply unprecedented.

Well then this will be going up sooner rather than later. Maybe another tower will be released sooner than expected.
