So my comment is gone but shuz’s is still there?
Not that I’m complaining because I like what he said. But singling out my comment because I dared to say “wtf” because a certain member is always whinging and here they are saying “do you guys ever stop whinging” - double standards much?
Anyway, I like the lighting feature on top of this building. The rapid colour changing at first was quite interesting. But yes a smoother, colour changing to just one plain colour just like on the Rialto Towers in Melbourne would do

The beam seems to have calmed down from whatever drugs it was on previously and is now changing colour at an appropriate speed.
Should just be one solid colour.
Agree with the sentiments here. They should keep it one colour and dim it a little. Considering the remainder of the building is dark and unlikely to change much, the beam stands out too much.
Agreed.
It looks tacky

Would love to see a photo taken from the start of Magill Road at the North Terrace/Fullarton/Payneham Roads intersection of our three tallest buildings. With Westpac House in between Adelaidean and Realm. Perhaps taken when Adelaidean and Realm are closer to being finished and before a crane on the 269 North Terrace, student accommodation site goes up. If anyone has a nice telephoto lens to bring Westpac House up closer it really makes a good pic. Also taken in warm morning light much better.
Cheers

Look at the glazing strip just above the podium on the first floor break. The really reflective blue strip sitting under the thicker floor line of the first tower floor. Imagine if the whole tower was clad like that, it'd be so much better.

No photos sorry, but is the lit top already busted? Driving past last night the south facing side had one section unlit, one a different colour, and on the east facing side one section was looking thinner and dimmer than the others.

It's been like that for a couple weeks now, both on the north and south side.
The whole LED display looks crap, which I'm kind of hoping and wondering if they are just running some test LED lighting before a more complete look is due later... maybe I'm just hoping.
