I never went in there. Is it big enough for a fairly big chain to move in, or just a small store area?
Whole floor plate. Think the width of the building, and extend from entrance back to where the lifts are. Same size as Spotlight, which is the floor above.
It's pretty ratty up there though, it's a real shadow of it's former life as DJs.

The way I understood the comment Slenderman was that Peregrine had a lot to fall back on from KK (ie from the master franchisor/head office in U.S.) if it fails here, which they don't.
Peregrines other businesses/assets are not mentioned and are separate/irrelevant to this discussion. Let's move on...

Zu has recently closed on the corner of Lindes Lane. Looks like it will be a small bar.
Type: Application Assessed on Merit
Application Number: DA/388/2014/A
Lodgement Date: 3/13/2015
Location: Zu, GF-1F 93 Rundle Mall, ADELAIDE SA 5000
Description: Vary previous authorisation to carry out alterations and change the use on ground floor and basement to small licenced venue - VARIATION - delete conditions 1 & 5 to allow for live entertainment.
Also looks like there is a fit out going on to the vacant tenancy to Grenfell street on Rundle Place (previously pop up bookstore).

Some interesting looking fit-out (finally) starting to take shape at 76 Pirie Street too.
Any ideas what's going there?
The former Spurling formal wear hire place on Grenfell Street has a Liquor Application notice in the window as well.

Because "Gondola Gondola" evokes Japanese spirits....
I joke, I'll be there!

I wonder if People's Choice on Pultney St (Citi Centre Arcade) would be likely to relocate to 69 Grenfell St (former Sony Centre),
in a bid to replace the King William St branch (which amalgamated with the branch on 60 Light Sq).
For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

Any news on 120 Rundle Mall (old Supre building)? I haven't been into the mall in recent weeks so the last I know was the building had it's front removed...

Last week they were putting up new glazing on the upper level, having completed a new steel frame.
It looks like the reason for gutting the building rather than a complete rebuild is they want to retain the original brick walls along the boundary lines, possibly having them exposed. If that is indeed the case, I think that pretty well rules out Uniqlo (doesn't fit the design language of Uniqlo's international and flagship stores).
