Welcome! You’re right it should be 4 at festival centre. :)

Also the Grote street proposal is at 32 Grote Street. No official height as yet.

Cool thanks Ben...Maybe one of the 4 cranes is actually for the Festival Plaza Tower?
Oh and also the 65 South Terrace crane isn’t in the crane list either....

New forum user here...go easy 😩
Now correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure I spotted 4 cranes yesterday at the Festival Plaza site and not 3...and should the 32 level Grote St proposal also be included in the list of upcomings as a VIS as well??
I think Ben is leaving the Central Market Arcade out of his list as no Development Application has been lodged yet.

Norman, the Central Market Arcade development is indeed in Ben’s list of upcomings, the 32 Grote St development I’m alluding to is the one on the north side of Grote St directly across from the Central Market..last entries on the forum thread for that development indicated it would be approx 32 levels. The Central Market Arcade proposal is slated to be approximately 35 levels...

Yes there are 4 cranes working on the festival car park site as mentioned by ozbear73. the newest crane is on the far left of the picture . This is on the south east side of the site by the back of Parliament house. Note the Sofitel hammer head crane in background on the far right. I apologise for the picture quality (due to rain). Can anyone shed any official light on the current status of the GPO Westin Hotel and 266-70 Pulteney St Wyndham Hotel projects?
A recent article in the Advertiser suggested both projects have been placed on hold indefinitely until current pandemic influenced economic conditions return to some sense of normality....
Perhaps these two projects should (sadly) be removed from the August 2020 upcoming projects listed just above by Ben....and possibly the QT, Travelodge, Vibe, and Hyatt projects also need to be changed to “ONH” status as indicated by said Advertiser article (if we are to believe its factuality)...

I'd be surprised if the Tryp by Wyndham didn't go ahead given the site has already been cleared and its occupancy would presumably be supported by visitors to the Calvary Hospital and less affected by recession hits to other industries.

Exactly. There was also a variation proposed to development plan fairly recently too.
