This building could have been marginally better had they used highly quality glazing, flush window panels top to bottom rather than having the concrete lip on every floor, and had the slats looked more like the slat design on the building going up on Market Street.

I was thinking that the photo CMB01 posted looked closer to the renders than anything I've seen, including multiple times in person!

The road way & footpath are ready to be fully reopened and so is the car park entrance. Please click on picture for bigger.

This is deeply unimpressive at street level.

Will tehe footpath be "restored" to the original form, or will the "restoration" incorporate the plan to extend the Frome Street separated bike lane? The entrance to the car park and taxi access to the hotel was one of the "complex" things that delayed the construction of the separate bike lanes.

The whole facade needs a clean, which may help things a touch. It'll be a case of "rolling it in glitter" so to speak. It's such a disappointing and underwhelming result.

I heard there may be a delay with the opening caused by problems of getting hotel furniture out of China. Their website says rooms are not available until 2 November...

75% of the building and it's materials come straight from China. Karma.
