The state can ignore ACC hight limits, but not CASA ones. These days it can be done by giving a development Major Project Status.

Well done Howie
Tou do a top job!. Would be good to get the time to do the same.
Let's hope that a major project status applies to this building and we actually see it built without the typical long dalay that so often occurs.
I really can't see the validity of height restrictions so close to Westpac building. It'll be pedantic rubbish if restricted IMO. You can BUY airspace also. (As with the most westerly of Nth Tce high rise buildings). Not sure how this works - anyone got an idea?
ADELAIDE - IN A CLASS ABOVE THE REST!

Great work Howie, specially with this building's challenging shape!

^^ have you read any of the past posts??? If so you would have found that this is still proposed and is going to the DAP soon. Look out for posts from the likes of Howie, Beamer, Will and ATD cos they will tell you what is happening and when.

BTW Howie cheers for the model. Seeing a 3d model really shows the disjointed nature of this building and also shows the height in respect to Westpac over the road.

Thanks for all your comments regarding this model guys. I'll try to get a model up for anything i can get a da with floorplans of, that way we get a sneak peak of the building

While I admire your efforts to make the model, seeing it in that perspective - I hate it.
Its too chunky, and the curve thing has just grown out on me. The shapes disorientated, and its just not... natural.
Sorry, but I hope this gets the thumbs-down.

^^^^^ Your kidding me aren't you????
Ok lets scale it down and propose another 'box' for thecity of Adelaide! This building is innovative and exciting. My comments do not reflect on the size of the buliding, i couldn't care if it was only 8 levels. It is unique and will be a landmark building in Adelaide.
By the way Howie i am truely impressed. Great work on all fronts mate.
