I like how it stands out so well and probably looks a lot better then it actually is, since every other tower nearby is a steaming turd.

Now I'm taking note of that line up the centre - it seems to suggest two identical buildings touching each other. I like that.

Looking South along King William St yesterday, seeing how it fits into the skyline view from that angle. (27/8/2023)

Why is the north face slightly different in the top-right corner?

Because the glass is angled differently in that section:Ursus Maritimus wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 1:16 pmWhy is the north face slightly different in the top-right corner?
Here's a couple more from Friday from a slightly different angle:

I like this.
It could have been more. But it’s solid.

Looks good from the North, gonna take a while to get used to it coming down North Terrace from the east.

Now imagine the difference some curves, or angles, maybe on offset corner- and even an extra 5 floors would have made. Its the glazing that saves this otherwise unremarkable building.

Theres a small crane in the side plot next to the tower.
A lot of guys using tools in there, quite loud. Definitely something is planned for that site.

The cynic in me says Walker was going to get his second tower all along.VinyTapestry849 wrote:Theres a small crane in the side plot next to the tower.

Great view, other then the fact it's ruined by some revolting surrounds in the festival centre, intercontinental and river bank overall.

This looks stunning in the above picture.
This angle is looking strong. Though I don’t agree with the second tower, if it’s a level above this, then giddy up
