Any word on whether or not they will be resealing the remaining road on either side of the new tracks? Seems like a no brainer to me but is it budgeted?

Correct. All roads in the CBD are council owned[Shuz] wrote:I believe that North Terrace is an ACC owned road and that the tram tracks are owned by DPTI.
Maybe just because it doesn't suit the intended routes. Grand unions are not common, it is not unusual that it will not be a grand union.ChillyPhilly wrote:Just a thought, maybe there won't be a full grand junction at North Tce/KWS so that people using the tram are encouraged to get off at ARS and walk through a completed Festival Plaza area?
This has nothing to do with the traffic works. I see this happen every day. People might remember I've posted about it a few times in the past.Llessur2002 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 4:05 pmLatest positive update from InDail...sorry...the Advertiser:
Vehicles flooded intersections, blocking oncoming traffic when lights turned red, and some disobeyed traffic controllers as main roads as far as Kent Town and North Adelaide became carparks during peak hour.
I commented on the article about exactly that. Looks like it didn't fit their narrative, as it was promptly deleted by their mod.monotonehell wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 8:01 pmThis has nothing to do with the traffic works. Drivers need to be educated not to chance jumping into a blocked intersection. It causes a lot of congestion at the best of times.
Can't upset their angry motorist customers. You know, the ones who are actually at fault.Nathan wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 8:11 pmI commented on the article about exactly that. I don't think this is a common problem in Adelaide. When I lived in Sydney, I distinctly noticed that it happens all the time there, like it's part of the driving culture there.Drivers need to be educated not to chance jumping into a blocked intersection. Anecdotal, but I see at least two occurrences of it each day walking home from work at various intersections.ml69 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 11:04 pmI don't think this is a common problem in Adelaide. Right then. Time for the cops to do a blitz that is just "revenue raising".Llessur2002 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:14 pmhttp://mylicence.sa.gov.au/road-rules/t ... bstruction
