the only way to get a picture of the bolivar crane is to pretend you have broken down on the Northern express way.

The last Flinders Uni crane is on the way down now.

It is included in the total. Ben’s total is 15, but the total on the thread is 16.

Add another tower crane to metro list. Parts are being delivered today and will be installed over next day or so at 120 The Parade, Norwood.

There also seems to be a small yellow tower crane at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, but I was driving so couldn't get a close look or a photo. It's close enough to John Rice Avenue that eastbound traffic is stopped while it lifts from the edge of the road.

There’s a tower crane up behind Arndale shopping center. Anyone know what this is for?

This has come up several times in the thread.

It’s the Titan Cranes yard. They must have it up for people to try/test etc.

I guess it could be included then?

Surprise crane up at The Harrington on Prospect Road.
Just saw it on my way home this arvo.

Finally a picture of the crane at the Harrisson Prospect Rd. This crane has the counter weight suspended below the engine deck and as the main boom moves closer to the tower then a series of levers and pivot points draws the counterweight closer to the tower. Conversely when the crane reaches out further from the tower the counterweights are pushed out from the tower in the opposite direction. This can be seen in the picture as the white beam attach to the bottom of the luffing beam near the cab roof. This looks like a brand new crane hardly a scratch on the paint work.
