Fantastic!
On another point, I had heard directly from a CFO (of a nationwide company with headquarters in Adelaide) that Hills was experiencing some financing difficulties concerning this building? Anyone know about this?

“The southern precinct along King William Street is becoming a particular focus for commercial development, with the State Government’s tram extension delivering increased transport options for companies and developers looking to build new premises.â€
I remember suggesting that in the Tram thread and getting laughed at.
Good news, though. I
think I've incorporated the latest lot of action into my database.

What nonsense! Project is secure and proceeding rapidly as are Wave and Edge. 2 more cranes very soon.

Joy, I presume this comment is in response to what I said in my last post concerning Hills and financing of the proposed building?
Here I see a flat broad generalisation (;what nonsense') without any evidence of specific justification and could say this is nonsense.
The CFO I referred to is a chief finance officer and a personal friend - I can measure his credibility. Due to his position he has extensive knowledge of the financial world and as a result commands respect for his comments. Having said this I recognise that he does not know everything and may have it wrong. What is your source of information?

Chill out chaps.
I imagine that any venture at the moment looks at interest rates and finance options.
With Hills Industries in a relatively strong commercial position, getting finance should be no problem. Will they own the building or wiill it be the same developers doing the wave, and own the brecknock hotel etc?

The new Hills Building is being developed by Goodman International, whereas the Wave and Edge are being developed by Adabco Investments. The confusion lies with the fact that all these developments are by JPE Architects.

Thread may want to change to under construction as it seems the basement levels are being dug out as of today.

It could also be that they are removing the contaminated soil from the former petrol station?

This building will start to transform the southern entry into Adelaide. Pity about the poor sods sitting by the northern windows of Optus house.
I think there are a number of building projects in the CBD that are not using the "big" building contractors so will be interesting to see who constructs this one and how long they take to get going.

Something rather nice on the corner beside Edge/Wave would make for an even happier Omi. I banish thee from Verona, ye ugly corner building!
