Thanks for the latest photo updates Waewick!
It's rising so fast! I forget the name of the guys behind this one; but I know they too were responsible for Coglin Place and 400KWS - they certainly do have a very impressive record of building things quickly. I guess the steel frame construction helps too.

no problems, they are via my phone so I do apologise from questionable angles and contrast!
it is rising fast, I like the look of the overhang (or whatever the technical wording is) on the Young street side, it really looks different to other glass boxes.
I think you will find it is the Kyren Group (going by the DA approval)

Thanks for the pics Waewick.
Yep looks like a climbing collar. I was wondering when this crane was going to rise as the building will be a fair bit higher than the current crane height.
Can already see the core for this development from Anzac Highway. Starting to do a great job covering up the ugly Telstra Exchange from this view.

Glass has started to go up on the office building (Franklin Street side). Sort of dark blue/green colour. Damn fine glass it is too
Big improvement on 400 KWS thanks to larger floor to ceiling height glass and smaller, similar colour floor/ceiling section glass sections instead of those lighter blue sections on 400 KWS.
Hopefully they will install black blinds like they did on 400KWS. Much better than the white blinds with green glass that is common for City Central, GHD building etc.

Large crane rise yesterday. Looks huge from southern CBD. Gives an idea of just how tall this building will be.

You're not wrong there, the crane looks massive driving up Port Road into the city.

Different colour glass on the same building is all the rage this decade.

I expected it to be a lot bluer, like the renders.

Thanks for the photos guys and great density shot Norman!
I spy with my little eye no fewer than 11 mid to high rise buildings built in the last five years or so, and several more just out of view. I remember reading an article before any of these were built about Adelaide's Southern CBD being about to awake from it's slumber - the evidence is in this photo.
