Whatever happened to the Twin st proposal. It looked quite good.

Wish one of these new tales would be a unique shape. They are all quite rectangular. Something with more curve would be very striking at this height.
To an extent, but part of this development is also about creating an iconic destination that builds the brand of Adelaide. For those types of developments there is some economic value in developers consider the bling factor.citywatcher wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 7:10 pmThey're buildingsMpol02 wrote:Thanks for clarifying.

At construction, I think it will be the 4th-tallest building in Adelaide. What will the subjective appearance be from the airport? I suspect that is the key direction to see it from.Nort wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 11:07 amTo an extent, but part of this development is also about creating an iconic destination that builds the brand of Adelaide. That said I love the look of this development. Wish it was height limit, but otherwise it's going to be a great thing for the area.
Seeing as the government haven't started construction yet of their hospitality and tourism institution at Lot 14, it's still not too late for them to consider the office space expected to be built as part of this development. The location is perfect for any such education facility and would save the government millions of $$ on building their own facility in Lot 14, would also make available the allocated site to expand on what they've already started with defence and small tech over at L14. Presently, I wouldn't be surprised it the ACC axe the office space component of this in favour of more residential, there isn't the demand for offices unless it's public sector and even then they'd simply be taking a department from one location and relocating it to here.gnrc_louis wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 1:05 pmStart date delayed until next year: https://indaily.com.au/news/2021/06/03/ ... velopment/
A developer advertising the space is always going to be saying positive things, but I'm inclined to believe them in this case. The whole precinct including that rooftop public space is going to totally reinvent that section of the city.gnrc_louis wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 1:38 pmThis sounds positive: https://indaily.com.au/news/2021/06/07/ ... developer/
Of course it sounds positive - it's churnalismgnrc_louis wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 1:38 pmThis sounds positive: https://indaily.com.au/news/2021/06/07/ ... developer/
