Can someone explain to me what the prominent features of the site are? I walk past here twice/day on my way to/from work. Those large 'metal boxes' at the top of the structure seem to be the recipient of a lot of attention from the ol' concrete pump, but hard to see what they're doing in there.

I assume you are talking about the two "core boxes" or slipforms, which are used to construct the lift and services well. Think of it as a spine of the building, with the floor plates forming and attaching underneath as they grow.

Does anyone know how tall this one actually is? There's no mention of height anywhere in this thread.

I had 68m but I'm not sure if that's a guess or fact.

68m was the height of the 'Princes Apartments', which were 23 levels.

Considering this one is 16 levels and residential, my educated guess is that this one will be 48m tall. However, that is just a guess, and considering that as this one was a federal project, it bypassed the ACC DAP and the state government DAC, hence there are no plans available on the internet.

AGREED - USING 400kws as some sort of guide at 11 floors and 40m.

Thanks for that. So those metal enclosures will essentially be lifted up as they create the lift well?

I noticed they've installed a permanent concrete pump over the last couple of days.

Also I dont recall them digging a pit for this building. I guess students living in the CBD dont need cars lol.

Hello

Has any body purchased a Uno Apartment and are having problems? Such as the layout of the apartment being changed and the room sizes. This is happening to me and i feel powerless to do anything about it. I was really looking forward to owning one of these apartments but aren't too sure about them now.
