The funding releases about $27 million in State Government money earmarked for the wetland and 300-space carpark for other additions to the stadium likely to include a third big replay screen.

I know what you mean. Although I hate to be the cynic, it's pretty clear the federal government couldn't afford not to be part of this project going forward. It's going to the landmark development in Adelaide over the next couple years and now local Labor MPs can put their name on it in their electorate newsletters and other propaganda. Adelaide oval is going to receive from the federal government.
I am sure that the federal government contributed towards the upgrade of the western
stand and we also received $30 million for the re - development.
