What a great tram! BUt it seems as though it goes straight through Vic Sq as in the old days when there was a grand tram junction there.( One of the very few in Aust.- the only other in Adelaide being at Nth Tce and KWS intersection).

I have noticed a lot of the trams have the body panels removed from around the airconditioning units on the roof. Were these taken off during the heat wave to improve air flow around the units? I only comment because the trams now look half finished and quite agricultural.
Norman, Will409 I am sure you have the answer.

This is an answer I got - the valances were removed to aid airflow around the inverters which supply the traction motors
& stop them overheating. This is 108 on Sunday without valances:

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but the city tram stops have finally received their long overdue rubbish bins.

does anyone know when the Glenelg Tram Line overpass over South Road is due to commenec. I thought it was by the end of 2008 but there seem no signs of anything remotely happening in the area at the moment.
It was supposed to be finished by the end of 2009 (in line with the ANZAC HWY underpass completion). Is this still the same timeframe.
Cheers,
It's underway waz !

The brown looking trees appeared to have been poisoned a number of weeks ago and today there was a big bucket truck doing the work.

So they still expect to have the overpass completed by the end of the year...

They best get a wriggle on then.
