The first row of orange / bronze cladding is now visible on this building from Light Square on the top (highest) level. Sorry no pics at this stage.

Would have been a reasonable building had the ACC not ****** it up and reduced it to stump its like the councilors in the ACC have a fobia about heights

Even though the ACC rejected the original 13 level proposal, the state government ultimately approved it anyway.

The 8 level building which was built is just a commercial reality. In the current financing environemnt, buildings which do not have nearly full or full occupancy do not receive funding.

That isn't entirely true. A lot of the time the developer isn't willing to put up the cash either. It is easy to blame the banks but if developers would put there money where their mouth is more developments would go ahead IMO

Very few developers actually have the money in hand.
