Drove past today and there was quite a lot of activity with what looked like 2 pile driving machines in operation.

Plenty. Work 6 days a week. Piling rigs there for 3-4 weeks but seem to be finished now. Looks like digging out some sort of basement (?) in the north-west corner at the moment.

The dug out area in the North-west corner is only a metre or so deep At this stage. Picture at lunch time today 16 June.

I doubt there would be much excavation on this one, they moved the carparking to above ground i thought?

I think they are getting ready to poor a slab on this one.

Yes the footings are being laid at the ground level. The site is being laid out at various shallow depths and re-inforcement cages are stored ready for use at the front (Grote St side ) of the site.

There is a large portable crane on site here today now as well.

Crane base going in as I type this... Western side of the site.

Lots of action today at lunch time. More footings were being poured on the western side towards the rear near the crane base.

Crane base was spotted today, crane will probably go up tomorrow or next weekend.

Quite a bit of action happening on site today. Lots of formwork, materials, men, equipment. Expect this one to go full steam ahead.
