They must finish the project by the end of August or the very beginning of September!
For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

No mention of leader street road overpass or Bowden in today's transport plan !!

The underpass is mostly complete and the site has been cleared up but still no sign of any actual overhead wiring. Picture taken from pedestrian crossing south of underpass.

- Information on landscaping and urban design treatments, and the Community Wildlife Project
Plus:
- A free sausage sizzle
- Children’s activities
- Live entertainment

what are the metal strips alongside each and every rail? Grounding strips that thin for 25 kV would be pretty useless...

That stuff is expansion caulking between the concrete slabs, its a cream/grey coloured sort of rubber compound.Vjkdigital wrote:what are the metal strips alongside each and every rail? Grounding strips that thin for 25 kV would be pretty useless...

[COM] Re: #COM: Goodwood Junction Rail Underpass | $110m
yep, and we're also going to get an underground rail link in the city.. "when funding becomes available"

Unfortunately there is not much extra work happening at the Leader Street crossing

Safety improvements for cyclists and pedestrians will be delivered at the Leader Street Rail Crossing through the provision of automated gates and visual warning lights at each of the two pedestrian/cycling level crossings. This will also improve safety along the Adelaide to Marino Rocks Greenway that runs alongside the Seaford rail line corridor.
