I think some people may have been a bit intoxicated the other night because that crane is your standard size, if not slightly on the smaller size (its boom)
Of course once it rises with the building it will be another story. Thanks for the pic Pistol78.

Excellent pic.Pistol. BTW what is function the building behind Conservatory - cream and dark red with vaulted roof? Very attractive IMO - a pity it did not go right through to pavement. Two bldgs together of better than usual architecture will bode the square welll.
Speaking of cranes, looking forward to the two on 'Central Park' and one on Aurora as well.
From the skyline cranes give a really 'active' appearance a the city.

As said above, former KPMG building, the vaulted roof was the board room, realllly good views of the hills from there, but when the new building goes up there wont be. Maybe that's why they moved?
Now it houses a load of various offices including some of Adelaide Uni's marketing dept.

I went past it on the bus today and I have to agree, it is massive.
Now, let's get this building up!

Not often you see me posting photos like this here. I was taking photos around the city as part of my TAFE course and naturally had a look in.
I am naturally no expert on cranes but it does appear to have a reasonable amount of lifting height in the main structure.

I went past today for my first look and it's great to see some progress. Surely, this is not the crane's final
height
It doesn't appear the biggest crane around town as I think SA Water HQ has a bigger crane.

Yeah its not that high atm, however I'm positive it was much higher on the weekend.
And yes it will definitely rise eventually

On the topic of cranes -
A. 1 at COH.
B. 2 soon at 'Central Park' on Hindmarsh Sq.
C. 1 at Octagon apartments.
D. 1 At Ipad.
E. 1 at SA Water.
F. I at Altitude.
G. 3 at and around Coglin Pl.
H. 2 very soon at Repco site
I. ! still at Tivoli (I think)
TOTAL - 13. Who says nothing is happening in Adelaide. Much better than in the last 20 years. When you
compare with what WAS happening here there is definite action. If Adelaide was a backwater - look out now!
On the COH Bldg. - will be quite prominent on the skyline from the SE.
