CDJ i assume you’ve seen what this looks like.

What are your thoughts on the design without giving much away?
Now that it's public, you'll get to see the renders shortly. The design is elegant and striking while also being sympathetic to the streetscape. JPE and Cox have done a brilliant job. I think most will be happy with it.

The advertiser will think that's real again and it will be in tomorrows paper

Hahahaha honestly given some of the crap we’ve had, that old beast wouldn’t be that bad.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess with anything if it’s quality then it should look quite elevated either way.

Exciting times!

So can someone please clarify regarding dwelling numbers. Does it mean 322 apartments plus 160 hotel rooms, or 322 including?

Here's a more accurate vision of what it looks like in comparison to other highrises in the city. Even when its been shortened to 180m, It'll be an absolute Beast!

Great to hear! I have no doubt this one will go up in current economic conditions! This road desperately needs a tram line
Mate, how do you define good economic conditions ?
The economy is a shambles.

The difference between SA1 Tower and previous tall proposals for Adelaide is that in this case the work has actually been done with regard to aviation. Previous proposals have made no attempt to do so and therefore had no chance of ever being approved at DA stage. This is the first time we've had a real project in Adelaide which will achieve height greater than the Westpac antennae. (Realm and Adelaidean are lower than Westpac antennae, with respect to sea level, which is what matters for aviation).
when you say the work has been done with regard to aviation does that mean that it has already been approved by the aviation authorities?

All will be revealed shortly. The full submission will be public in the next day or two and that will answer your question

It looks like a phone exchange and a tyre and auto?

Was waiting for this news since December. CDJ gave us a hint for something then. A little disappointed not pushed to the 200 metre limit, but beggars can't be choosers. Anyhow back in December I put this image together to see what reaction it would get but never posted it. A bit of an anti climax now I guess. Anyhow let's enjoy the moment.
