This one has been listed in today's paper as commencing construction this Monday 3rd of March. Look forward to seeing those buildings that are currently on-site get demolished.

Anyone know if demolition has commenced? I noticed it received development approval only today so may be a few more days off.

Baulderstone Hornibrook are the builder for this development. They sure have a huge presence in SA recently.

Signage on the hoardings is all up.

Mind you, if i can recall correctly they only have 2 active Jobs in Adelaide at the moment, Flinders Medical and The Gallery at The Precinct. Not many for such a huge company.

I was saying recently. They were obviously in charge of Keith Murdoch House, CC1 & CC2 and Electra House. Soon it'll be Gallery, Aurora, 20 Hindmarsh and Crowne Plaza will all have green BH cranes on site.

Pretty decent for one city.

For consistency, I think we should state that demolition does not mean the project is under construction. Developers may sit on a site for months, or have approval to demolish but not build. For example, 374 King William Street sat empty for ages.

I completely agree. U/C status should only be granted once construction of the actual building has begun.

Adam & Will.

The title of the thread has been changed because BH are on site, they are the construction firm, and they've said that this tower has commenced construction.

I do agree though in other cases though that demolition doesn't always suggest construction is immediate. Hence the Franklin St twin tower and the Hills KWS towers have not been changed to UC.

Thanks lads.

Fair enough. So which is to start first, the 57m/15 level or 50m/14 level?

The eastern tower will commence first; the 14 level/ 54m one.
