Heh, didn't they realise that "pool hall" has other seedy connotations?

Are there any images of the 1000sqm of "leisure water" mentioned in the article from the groundbreaking?

I'm sure they must have addressed it somewhere else, but based on that final image above, there sure looks like a hell of a shortfall of car par spaces...

The building with the coloured squares looks like a multilevel car park. Either way on a hot day in the school holidays, it's going to be fairly tight.

Ah ok, I thought that was the back of the GP Plus building.

It is next door to the biggest shopping centre in the state, remember.

If you examine the picture the front part of the GP building is a small car park. You can see the tell tale sloped roof and the ramps are visible. But I guess that's going to be reserved for GP use.

Where it is ALREADY very difficult to find a park on many weekends, busy shopping times etc. If we have to rely on Westfield for swimming car parks, there is trouble brewing before the thing even gets made.

That SHOULD be at least some for swimming - you can't imagine that GP PLus would need a whole multi-level structure for themselves... or would they?

Take a bus and quit complaining. You're lucky Marion even has free parking. Many Westfields don't.

Adelaide. The city of car parks.

Not to mention Oaklands Station is right across the road and Marion Interchage on the other side of the centre.

Taking a closer look at the render, it looks like more car parks will be incorporated into the ground level of the Health Centre (there's a vehicle with it's nose out the side of the building).

By the way, there's still very little construction action on site. A bulldozer has graded a narrow track across part of the site, and the grass has been cut, there's a lone excavator which I see parked there each night, and the blue Candetti signs have been removed from the fence surrounding the site ... but that's about it.
