HOw many does the Thebby theatre cater for?
Just thought I would give a more realistic figure than 4 :D

CAPACITY - 1990 Fully Seated
CAPACITY - 2000 General Admission
Do you mean to say that if they take all the seats out, they can only admit 10 more people? Am I reading that right?

It seems a little weird, but yeah per wikipedia the capacity is listed as 2000 people.

A lot of the signage & logos are in place, with the existing venue marked as arena, and the new marked theatre:

Looking forward to photos of the LED screen...!

I've yet to see it lit up, but even during the day it is a vast improvement on how the entertainment centre used to look, and a very interesting and innovative design, so it gets a thumbs up from me!

Was in this part of town last night and decided to stop by and have a look.

It seems pretty well complete now with only a few minor cosmetic touches left to go. The temporary fence is gone and has been replaced with a few witches hats and some ropeline. There are some stainless steel bollards marking the VIP vehicle entrance and exit (either side of the AEC Logo) together with matching retractable bollards to keep this entrance exclusive and controlled.

Whilst i didnt see the dome or LCD screen lit up, im already very impressed and the proximity of the Tram terminus only adds to its appeal.

Can't wait for this one to be open :D

I drove past it the other night and both the dome and the screens were lit up. It looks really really cool. I was a bit dubious about how this looked during the day but i'm converted because it looks great at night time. There's also red lit framing that goes around the new glass entrance, overall it looks really modern and impressive.

This, the nothern lights... all very hot.

Put in the new hospital and possible stadium re-development and Adelaide could be on the map in regards to swanky architecture. Of course it IS election time... but we can all dream yes?
