In Andy's first photo, there's black mesh or tarps on the adjacent building. Anyone know why? Don't recall seeing this on other developments?
It is covering the area of wall that used to have the old building abutting it

Telstra is going to occupy the remaining floors of this building. Their lease on 30 Pirie St is expiring in 2023 and they are moving.
I'm curious how they are going to fit into three floors? Maybe there's a possibility to revise the height?

Telstra have been reducing the number of customer service staff based in Adelaide for a while now. They also seem to be engaging with their enterprise partners a lot more these days, so there would be less Telstra staff working in Pirie St.
That, combined with working from home trends and advancements, and the fact that the total floor square metreage of this new building seems to be quite high, means 3 levels for Telstra is probably adequate. Having said that, I hope they do increase the height as this one is looking promising.

Would've thought the lettable area of 3 levels in this development would be like 10 levels in 30 pirie st as well.

I thought Telstra owned 30 Pirie St outright.

30 Pirie is owned by Australian Unity.
Telstra currently leases the majority of the building except one or two floors.

From today
Some interesting curves in the entrance and the start of the upper floors
I am guessing that the core is at level 8
