LED screen was operating today, advertising tonight's opening & coming attractions - all looks good, with banners along Port Road and the site fencing gone.

Is anyone going to take photos & videos of it's public open day?

The signage, with the way too tightly tracked Gill Sans looks hideous. The rest looks pretty good though

The theater is going to be painted right rather than leaving that bare concrete?

Went past this tonight... what a spectacle. All the lights, and the added installations around the EC PLUS the new theatre... it is one heck of a great centre. Moreof this around our city thankyou!

What's wrong with bare concrete?

Nothing so long as it looks good, that doesn't.

Here are three shots from Saturday night, the 6th of March 2010. The canopy was continuously cycling through different colours and patterns.
The LED signs in the background were dazzling when displaying a lot of white.

Bravo.....brilliant. I am wrapt with how this has turned out and to be honest, when this project was first announced i thought the canopy would be scrapped or dumbed down a bit.
Certainly adds some wow factor along with the Channel 7 building now.
Thanks for the photos too Bill. Great work mate...

Fark that looks incredible. Finally a new landmark structure in Adelaide. That has all come together so well, the LED screen is excellent, the poles carrying the performer posters are great and to top it all off that Dome. Outstanding
I don't think many would have predicted just how good this would look, I certainly underestimated it, and how much it will benefit the city.
