Exit Poll on 9 predicts Liberal/Marshall win 50.5% to Labor/Weatheril 49.5%
Primary Vote
Lib 36%
Lab 31%
SAB 15%
Greens 8%
F*ck me, that's a close one.
As much as I dislike both Weatherill & Marshall, this is going to be interesting.

It'll come down to who can make a deal for government with the independents and SAB.

Wow, 8%. What's wrong with those people? Overdosing on prescription meds, or hitting the ice pipe a bit hard last night?
Absolutely uncalled for.
Agreed. Stupid thing to say.

Not really. Greens support legalizing many illegal drugs.
Quite a few of their politicians are drug users.
A socialist union member would vote for Labor.
A right wing conservative would vote for Liberal(if they still think Liberal are conservatives), or Australian Conservatives.
Less then 10% of the public care about pokies. Coincidentally it's around the same amount (8%) of the predicted Greens vote.
A party that is out of touch. Wonder why.

Seriously enough Rev. This thread is about the State Election.
Looking like Labor's 16 year reign of power is about to come to an end. SA Best is doing pretty poor.

Friendly reminder that it's "ok to say no" to Rev through use of the ignore button. It's made SA much nicer for me.

Sadly. Labor could still pull it off.
8 in doubt still, and independents have 2 seats. According to 9's coverage.
AdelaideNow coverage...41.28%
ALP 7
LNP 12
SAB 0
OTHER 0
UNDECIDED 28
I wonder how much of an impact in the end the redistribution will have. Apparently 400,000 voters are now in different electorates.
Hopefully it's the end of Xenophon and his crappy attention seeking stunts and the Greens.

So do I, as keeping them illegal causes more problems than it solves. But that doesn't mean I'm on drugs.
Quite a few of their politicians are drug users.
On what do you base that assertion?
A socialist union member would vote for Labor.
A right wing conservative would vote for Liberal(if they still think Liberal are conservatives), or Australian Conservatives.
Sure, but the Greens' base are environmentalists, not junkies.
Less then 10% of the public care about pokies.
Were the public specifically asked whether they care about pokies?
Coincidentally it's around the same amount (8%) of the predicted Greens vote.

I can't think of any party that's in touch! Can you?

If you were to do a survey of core voters of each party, people who will never change who they vote for, I'm willing to bet my house that you'll find the Greens are the higher drug users. Followed by Labor a close second.

Personal experience. I could say a lot, about two parties in particular, but given how Howie doesn't like me even saying a few truths about certain business people in this state, I wont. There's already enough precious people having a sook about me on this forum lol.

I never said they were junkies.
Less then 10% of the public care about pokies.
Were the public specifically asked whether they care about pokies?[/quote]
9's coverage covered it. It was around 7-8% of respondents who said it mattered to them. About the same predicted total vote for the Greens.
Coincidentally it's around the same amount (8%) of the predicted Greens vote.
A party that is out of touch. Wonder why.

Honestly? There's aspects that each party is in touch with the community, and many where they are not.
They're all shit. Our challenge is picking the lesser of the evils. Sadly at the moment it seems the majority have gone with the perception that the popular choice is "change" because apparently everyone is "tired of 16 years of Labor government"..the dangers of social media I guess. Vote for a party, while not perfect, that actually delivers something, and has some sort of plan, or a party that is promising to "look into" doing things.

No, they haven't.
They are projecting it. It even says ABC Projection.
18-24, 3 independent, 2 in doubt.

There's over 200,000 postal/early votes as well. When do they get counted, tonight, or...?
Apparently that's a record number as well..
