Late to the party, but ACC did a great job of the skate park on West Terrace. Popular at the start of school holidays. Not a great photo, but the best I could do from distance without someone calling out, 'Hey! You, in the bushes!'

Quite a big operation going on at Gawler Pl. Presumably all related to the fallen panels seen smashed on the ground last week. Seems like much more than just a cleanup going on. I wonder if this has triggered some kind of review on the safety of the remaining structure. Can imagine someone could have been seriously hurt had they been hit by any of the falling panels.

That seems likely -- there were similar safety checks on the State Admin Centre after its façade crumbled and hit the footpath. Then again, City Across is currently being upgraded so potentially they're just moving up works on this section.

The changing face of North Terrace - if the Trinity City, new hotel at the Metters site and Masonic buildings go ahead + when the IEC and indigenous art centre at Lot 14 are completed. it will make this boulevard pretty special

In the latest cancellation / delay of previous Government decisions, work on the indigenous art and culture centre next to Botanic Gardens on North Tce has been stopped for the next 6 months! To have a review...

I’m not sure this is a bad thing? He wants to ensure that the state is actually investing enough into the project for it to be worthwhile on the international stage… $250m for the entire project is quite menial when you consider the recent announcement the WA Government made over their own Aboriginal cultures gallery not to mention the Victorian Government’s own Contemporary Gallery with a price tag of $1b.

I say spend the money now and make it a lasting worthwhile investment rather than cut corners and get stuck with a dud outcome.

Another pointless political review ordered by populist Pete. How'd the Brompton gasworks site review go?

I wish he'd cancel it altogether. I don't see what value is serves to the state. It won't be a significant attraction and I expect it'd be the least visited public building on North Tce.
