Please take any conversations about topics other than general cbd development to the pub.
Back on topic…
Welcome the clean up but I worry that you've left behind at least a page (Posts #2655 thru #2671) of the most egregious stuff.

I think instead of just zapping a whole conversation that's off-topic, it would be better to just move posts to The Pub.

Back on discussion with General CBD developments please... general banter belongs in The Pub forum.
I've had to delete some posts, sorry for everyone getting notifications of replies.

Looks like it's a 15-level office building intended for both UniSA and SA Health, directly across North Terrace from SAHMRI on the site where Adelaide Riviera Hotel and an existing Health and Medical Clinic tenanted by UniSA are currently located.

Does anyone have any information or links on the City Gates project? I have searched this site and google and it seems to have disappeared.

Is this a new thing? Or do you mean a
councillor's thought bubble some years ago?

No that’s the one. For some reason I couldn’t find it. Thanks heaps. I’m guessing nothing will come of it.

Hopefully it's not even a footnote in anyone's record of history.
The money they would waste on that would be better spent on beautifying city streets and maintaining proper footpaths and road surfaces throughout.
Or, actually finishing the redevelopment of Victoria Square.

Anyone know why the Telstra Exchange on Waymouth has had hoarding up at ground level for more than a year? I had thought they might be cutting out storefronts given the building is probably now larger than needed, but there's been zero action.

You mean on Pirie?
In the last year there were images of planned changes IIRC, adding some shopfronts where they had the garden beds at the moment
