We've got a bit more glass, and more... red things.

Thanks for keeping us updated on virtually every single project around the CBD AtD. I have seen all this happen from on the ground and it makes me feel good to live in Adelaide. I know that some of the architecture isn't exactly 'inspired' in some cases but it is all NEW. Finally, Adelaide is starting to shed to shed the 'old skin'.

The CBD has become one big construction site.

This building - though only 11 floors, sure fills Vic, Sq. well on the east side. Starting to take a better appearance.
As to Jimmy_2486's comment - I reckon Hindmarsh Sq. takes the prize for construction. Looking like it will be THE address of the future with Crowne Plaza added.
Good to see another departure from that rediculous pyramid concept with thevconstruction of VS1. This concept once centred on Grenfell bldg. as the highest point in the CBD. Ibelieve only high rise along KWS sth.allowed once past Wakefield/Grote sts).

I don't get the little box things above the windows. Will they stay like that or have something inserted in them?

The 'little box things above the windows' are where the attachments for the western curtain glass wall go to provide a wall of glass infront of the current glass that has recently gone up. If you are not sure what I am talking about check the latest renders a few pages back.

Looking good. I hope the lobby design makes the most of its Victoria Square outlook - it looks like a decently-sized ceiling height, and with those A-shaped add-ons around the western front, there's certainly potential for an interesting interior.

Yes, it will be an interesting interior. I have seen plans, but unfortunately no renderings besides those earlier on in this thread.
Cheers

This one could end up being a stunner from certain angles I reckon. I wasn't sure about the individual vent panels in and out of the southern and northern glass facades but it could actually looks alright now they have put some in. I am guessing it will also assist air movement and gaining the 6 Green Star Rating. Pics from today:
