It looks like 2 liftwells being installed. One in the centre of the building and one at the back (on the western side). Maybe the second set of lifts is for the car-park area and the internal one for residents. Good to see some real progress at last.

On the website it says that residents of the apartments will have a separate entrance lobby with separate lifts to their apartments. This is entered via Hindmarsh Sq.

The office foyer is located off Grenfell Street and accessed via different lifts. So there are two lift cores to this building.

Our friend James Hines, from the Hines Property Group, reports that it's an absolute hive of activity down at the Conservatory on Hindmarsh site. Here is a photo he sent taken from the crane. As you can see there is the outlines of the two residential elevators and the fire stairs. Expect construction to move very quickly as the structure cycle establishes with a floor rise every week or less.

Great picture. Good to look down on a core for a change. Sure is a different view to what we are used to. Also good to see a developer sharing pics on the forum via Howie.

I think it's great too - especially when the developer has alot of passion for the city and are ready to put money where it counts rather than going interstate to make a quick buck. I think we've got to get behind our local developers, architects and builders... whereas interstate developers building here are more or less detached from Adelaide and don't get actively involved with the community and sites such as sensational-adelaide as much.

Side note... James says there'll be an announcement on the start of 20 Hindmarsh very soon!

Excellent to hear that James Hines has a passion for the city - even more so as he is a developer. You never know how much of an effect SA may have on him either. (common goals). All very encouraging.
