I hate fist world problems!!
Seriously, 15 mins! get over it.
I am going to have to wait 15 mins every week day for the next 18 months.
So in total I am going to have to wait for about a month !
Just so that they can build a disgusting yellow building full of suicide boxes.
Selfish much?
Not even the world's smallest violin is appropriate for such an insane argument. Care factor to your 15 mins is ZERO!
Bring this building on!
Not exactly selfish, I'm surprised that so many of you don't have a problem with this single-lane arrangement?
It's literally backing up peak hour traffic to Frome Road and sometimes beyond, and the way it seems, it's a completely unnecessary loss of a traffic lane when you consider the fact that the worksite is using the laneway between David Jones and the neighbouring building as a workspace, the median strip infant of their own worksite and neighbouring sites. How much room does this development actually need? I watch this site from work everyday, and I find it incredibly hard to understand why the powers that be would allow the developers to occupy a whole lane along one of Adelaide busiest roads, meanwhile elsewhere in Australia, they don't even need the median strip to get taller developments off the ground...

The crane was still operating at 8:15pm last night, didn't think they ran that late. I've got a solid view of the core going up over Rundle Place from my office, will take a few photos as they go.

I walked past tonight and some of the panels have started to go up. Hopefully it's much too early to say, but from what I saw they didn't look great.

So far looks like one of the many county jails you would find in downtowns USA. It is early days but I actually find it oddly insulting that such trash would be not only proposed but approved, on North Terrace no less.

But guys, it's OK! This will be a tall building so we have nothing to worry about re: quality of the design!

Oh dear, halt construction immediately. This is a shocker.

Just as we expected. The tenders made this look good.

One positive, at-least they've opted for a sandstone finished instead of raw concrete...
